Open Call for Youth Art Submissions

Majestic Art Gallery invites youth artists, ages Pre-K through 12th grade, to submit self-portraits for Faces of Downtown, a unique exhibit hosted by Arizona State University Local Los Angeles at the historic Harold Examiner Building. This exhibition celebrates the vibrant, diverse faces of Downtown Los Angeles through self-portraits that reflect the heart and identity of our community.

About the Exhibit

Faces of Downtown showcases the self-portraits of young artists who shape the social fabric of DTLA. Each piece will highlight the individuality and stories of our youth, coming together to represent our collective community spirit. As a fundraiser, this exhibit will support participating artists and their families by opening college savings plans with proceeds from an auction of the artwork.

Auction and Fundraising Purpose

All artwork will be featured in an online and in-person auction, with proceeds helping to open college savings plans for participating youth. This exhibit offers young artists an opportunity to showcase their talent, contribute to their educational future, and support their community. We look forward to seeing your Faces of Downtown!
